The specific industries I used AI to enhance my resume for is finace and film directing. I gave ChatGPT my original resume and gave the prompts “stretch the experiences I had to fit a finance position” and later gave it “create a resume targeted towards a film director role, sent to a major production studio (Warner Bros, Netflix, Universal Pictures, etc.).” The AI generated versions changed significantly from my original resume. Instead of just listing jobs, the AI enhanced version focused more on my transferable skills and respnsibilities that are more relevant to finace or filmmaking jobs, such as my volunteer work, production experience, and customer service jobs.
